It’s in this question where our story starts. This country, this city and specifically this neighborhood, has been the most unique place we have ever lived.
For our family in this season, the most profound way we can share the gospel is through the lens of hospitality.
As we look forward to 2025, we dream how our home can be a light into our community.

2 years into our journey here, we understand the URGENCY we have to make the most out of every moment that we live here. It’s not a given that your visa will get renewed. There is no guarantee that war doesn’t break out. Everything is constantly changing.
Yet, more than ever, our resolve is to let God use our family, in the middle of a neighborhood that has no Christian witness, in ANY way he wants to…
In this next year this is where we see God moving through our family and what we need to take the next step forward.
THROUGH OUR HOME
We see our home as a space that we can invite people into and in doing so are inviting them into our lives. Whether it’s through holding kids english classes or having a meal together on our terrace we want people to encounter His presence anytime they’re in our home.
Needs:
– Create space for teaching kids English
– Renovate downstairs bathroom for English classes
– Home improvements that are required by our rental contract
VIA HOSPITALITY
We want our community to know that they’re seen, loved and cared for. It may be by making a cup of coffee just how they like or baking them something to know we are thinking of them or bringing them into a space that lets them know they matter. We want them to know we see them because Jesus sees them and cares.
Main Goal:
– Furnishing and equipping back patio with seating area, dining and welcoming space to enjoy
AND ON THE FIELD
We’ve said it before but who knew that baseball would be an avenue to love on people in Israel? We could not of written this into our story, that is only God. This baseball community we have fallen into is not only fun but gives us another opportunity to share our story and carry His presence into.
Stage 1:
– Container shipment with equipment (no baseball stores exist in Israel)
– Rent for 1 year for storage/batting cage training
– Setup costs
